. P L E A S E......N O T E : THIS TIARA IS N_O_T FOR THOSE WITH THINNING HAIR. .
The WEDDING TIARA 1899C8, herein pictured, is NOT as pictured when I got it. It is far more lovely, far more intricate, far more detailed, and, I believe, of far GREATER LENGTH than is pictured. This last quality, LENGTH, is very important -- because a tiara that covers only six or seven inches with design, can, (except on a very small child), wind up looking like a waitress' cap. (Nothing wrong with being a waitress --its an honourable profession which, in addition, has been the "jumping off" job, for some of our most distinguished actresses and and, (for waiters), actors -- but when one buys a TIARA, it usually isn't because one wants to go dressed as a waitress!)
THIS tiara could never be waitress's head-piece! It has a nice and LONG "main section", consisting of white and pink rhinestones, as pictured. But the loops are narrower, and closer together than as pictured -- there are 15 loops in all, in my tiara, rather than just the 7 that are pictured. : ) This gives MORE rhinestones, and MORE sparkle! (You can imagine how my eyes and smile sparkled, as I opened the box, and found that inside, was a tiara far more beautiful than that pictured online!)
This tiara comes with COMBS at each end, which I find far preferable to the loops at each end in other, more expensive tiaras. The combs will keep the tiara well-fastened in just about anyone's (thick or thinning) hair, whilst the loops -- made to hold, (I believe), one strong hairpin each, will not, (again, so I believe), hold tiaras as well-anchored as attached combs will.
Absolutely spectacular, and a total bargain for the price, this tiara should be worn with a pink or red gown, or at least with a scatter-pin or broach featuring a pink or red stone. Just as shoes that match the colour of a daytime suit seem to show that the owner can afford many pairs of shoes, (each in a colour matching each outfit), so too does a tiara with coloured stones seem to increase the appearance of affluence of the wearer. However -- if you just get ONE tiara, (and this one would be an excellent choice), just be sure to get some pins, broaches, earrings, or even a necklace featuring red or pink stones. Ad some red or pink shoes, (or even blue ones, with red or pink bows!), and you're all set for a wonderful evening out -- probably with many compliments from those admiring your excellent taste in evening attire!
